Dream House

This is a bunch of random "things" that I would want in my "dream house." I would like to have a house on a hill so it would overlook the endless horizon. I want it to have six bedrooms and three bathrooms. When I say I want six bedrooms I don’t want them to be small ones, I want them big so my kids won’t complain. I want a three car garage. The third one will be for my kids and bikes and toys. I want my yard with flowers in front of my stairs up to my front door; I want curved stairs with a covered patio at the top of the stairs. I want my backyard to be grass with a garden and a fountain. I want a big deck in the back for barbecues and parties. I would have to get a riding lawn mower so I wouldn’t have to spend the whole day mowing it. I would like to have game room in my house with a pool table, ping pong, foosball and air hockey table. I would want a huge family room with a sectional couch and a projector. I would like to have a master bedroom with a walk-in-closet and a jetted tube and a big shower. I want an attic that you could put stuff in and walk around in. I would like to have one of those kitchens that is ginormous and has matching cooking appliances. You know what would be cool is having drinking fountains in the house. I want a computer that is wide screen and has fast internet. I want to have some kind of dog. I would like to have a bunch of other stuff in my dream house but can’t think of anything right know. I know some of this stuff would be expensive but everybody has a picture of their dream house.

Update on my puppies.

Well, they have nearly doubled in size and are starting to walk around in their bin. We have them in a old guinea pig cage. They are starting to get brown around their face and feet. They "play" and roll over on top of each other. Daisy the mom, never wants to be with them, she is too busy keeping an eye on Milee making sure she is not getting any attention and not having fun. The puppies are SO cute, Boo is so fat, and Bones is nearly half of Boo. Boo never stops eating whenever Daisy decides she wants to be with them she never stops eating. Their eyes have opened and their teeth are starting to come in. There is starting to get long and thick. You will never see them not touching each other. Right now they are lying side by side, sleeping. We already have sold Boo and he will leave right before Christmas, if we are lucky they might let us keep them till Christmas and they will get it for a Christmas present. My mom found this website that showed the average growth of a puppy and when we weighed Boo she was off the chart by the first week.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays for many reasons. First, I like it because family comes together and has a good time. This thanksgiving my grandparents from Canada are coming down. They are lucky because they get 2 thanksgiving dinners because in Canada their thanksgiving is in October. So if you love thanksgiving dinners and want to experience that warm filling dinner twice go to Canada. Second, I like it because there is so much to eat, the warm, juicy turkey, the hot, fluffy stuffing, the many varieties of salads, the mashed potatoes drenched in steaming gravy, the warm, buttery rolls. I only like turkey if I can have it first, I hate cold turkey, it is so dry, I have to eat the turkey before all the sweet juices leek out. Third, I like it because everybody realizes what they have and how much they are thankful for it, here is a list of some of the many things that I am thankful for: shelter, food, family, money, music, entertainment, gospel, clothes, a bed, trees, computers, and dogs. In my family before we eat our dinner we all say one thing that we are thankful for. I love to hear everybody comment of what they are thankful for. We have so much in this world. When my family finishes eating we all sit around and talk, I love when everybody is happy and just talk. I am really excited for my grandparents to come down they will be staying till 2009. They are the best. My grandparents have not come down for awhile and it is always fun to have them around.

Music

What kind of music do you like? Rap, country, rock, classical, blues, pop, hard rock, jazz. Can you imagine all those songs out there in the world? I don’t really have a favorite type of music. I can’t say that I love rock and hate blues. If it is a song that I like then I like it. I try not to let whether it is country or classical determine if I like the song. I have some of all kinds of types, yes I like SOME country. The only music that I don’t like is probably those songs that are hard metal and sound like the sing is dying. My dad hates all the song that has been composed since 2000. Well there are some exceptions. He can name every song he has within he fist two notes of the song. We got this game ‘scene it music’ my dad is a pro at that game because it uses all the songs from the 70’s and 80’s. I am longing for a music player to listen to my music. My brother broke my other one and I ordered a new one but it was a scandal, they took our money and ran. Luckily we got our money back through visa but visa lost money and are trying to find the guy and get their money back.

What would you be?

What do you want to be when you grow up? Everybody has at least heard that world a couple hundred times at least. That question that in elementary you have to write goals during SEOP conferences. I hate that question. I think that I want to be a policeman, but then you hear about people that have died be a policeman. Then you want to be a doctor because they make a lot of money. Then you hear about all the school you have to go through. The list goes on and on. I think a lot of people have come up with the ultimate job where you earn a lot of money and not too much school. I don’t know there is a job out there where the less schooling you have you can earn more money. I want to be a pharmacist when I want to grow up. I want to start as a pharmacy tech when I get out of high school and start to work to be a pharmacist. I like the sciency kind of jobs. I want to have good working conditions, good pay, good hours, and another list of stuff that everybody wants to have. I don’t like those career tests that tell you jobs that you would be good in. It never gives me jobs that I would like to do. It might be that I am entering in different than what I feel. I don’t like those personality tests that tell you your organization level, physical level, social level, and all those other attributes. In our biology class we went to the lab and took this two hundred question test. When I got the results it was the exact opposite of what I thought I was like. I hate to answer that question “what are you going to be when you grow up?”

Coolest Inventions

This blog is going to be about some inventions that I think would be cool.
1. A time travel machine: I wonder how much it would change about what we know of the past. People could do things over again. I wonder if time travel was an everyday thing would there be laws and rules that you have to obey. I bet it would be expensive and the person that invented it would be the richest man alive. It would probably cost a lot of money to have one. Maybe it would use up a lot of electricity.
2. Jet pack: Whenever I am walking home I always think of some way I could get home faster. One day I got on Google Earth and measured the distance from my house to the school, it was .89 of a mile. Then I measured a straight line and it measured .41 of a mile. That is less than half. If I flew with a jet pack I could get there a lot faster, and it wouldn’t take much effort. I wonder if the government actually has jet packs but they aren’t released to the public.
3. A mind robot: it is a robot that you program it to read your mind and then complete the task for you. Like if you forgot some homework you could use telepathy to tell it what to do, all you have to do is “think”, and it is being completed. The person who created this robot sensation would be a pretty rich person as well.
4. Automatic Lawn Mowing Machine: Wouldn’t that be cool, to have a small machine cut the grass for you. All you have to do is put it on the grass and let it go. It would have sensors that tell it were it has cut and hasn’t. You can mulch the grass because you could do it more often. It would be perfect you could program the robot how you want your grass to look (like stripes or half and half). The only bad thing is that all the people, (me included) that mow lawns wouldn’t get any money. I earn most of my money mowing lawns and I don’t think that I would like it to take my job, maybe I could let it do my yard because I don’t get a penny for mowin’ it.

There would be a lot of things that would be fun to invent but most of them would change the society. Everybody would be do things different than they used to. People would rely on technology to do everything for them. I know these sound cool but like in Walle people would get fat and do nothing.

Puppies

After Halloween night at 2:32AM, Daisy had her puppies. In our family, we guess, one week before the designated time of birth, the number of the puppies, the time of birth, the date, and if they are boys or girls. On Halloween morning daisy started winning and digging in blankets. This continued all day long, it was annoying and everybody was anticipating the arrival of the new addition to our family. We were all anxious for the puppies; we knew there were more than 2 puppies because we had an x-ray a couple of days before. I went to bed around midnight and had a very long day. I knew she was going have her puppies that night because she couldn’t stop moving and you could see the puppies moving around in her belly. The last time she had her puppies it was around 2 o’clock so that is what I guessed. The prize of getting the closest would get a bag of candy. I guessed 2 days earlier so I didn’t get the prize. My mom ended up getting the prize, we said that it was her influential power over daisy and told her to have them on the morning of November 1 at 2 o’clock.
My little sister stayed up all night with my parents, she was determined to see daisy birth the puppies. I personally think that it would be a blast watching that. (That was sarcastic) My sister wants to be a vet when she gets older; that is why she was totally psyched about it. At 2:43 my sister comes storming into the room, turns on the light, and screams, “she just had one puppy.” “What time?” I asked. “About ten minutes ago.” Why didn’t you come and get me sooner?” “I was watching the whole thing and didn’t want to miss it,” she said. Typical, she wouldn’t miss it for the world. I walked downstairs where I saw my dad relaxing on the far end of the couch. (He doesn’t really get a kick out of watching the dog give birth.) my mom, who also is intrigued and spends hours researching what she should do if something went wrong, was sitting next to the place where all this exciting action was taking place. We were wondering if there was going to be another puppy coming out because nothing was happening except daisy was giving the new born girl a proper licking bath. I sat down there for 5 min. before I was about to fall asleep on the floor. I went to bed and fell asleep instantly.
In the morning everybody woke up early to give there undivided attention to the, limited time only, new addition to our family. There were 2 puppies in the morning, both girls. My mom, dad, and little sister named the puppies the night before. The one who came out first is called Bones, you get it; it was right after Halloween, I thought it was kind of cheesy. The second one they named Boo, because she came out an hour after Bones, kind of like peek-a-BOO. I will try to get pictures on here. Please leave your comments.
